What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Biller position at Advantage Surgical and Wound Care?
Lumina HealthCare is looking for additional dental billers to join our team working Full-Time, Monday-Friday at our corporate office near LAX.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coding, preparing, and submitting insurance claims and invoices for dental procedures.
- Liaising with health insurance providers to ascertain patients' benefits, as required.
- Updating patients' personal and health insurance details, as needed.
- Ensuring that patient information remains confidential.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Medical Biller, preferably in a dental practice.
- Familiarity with CDT and ICD codes preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Capacity to work with sensitive patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
